GoChallenge Secures €500,000 Pre-Seed Funding to Start the Movement Movement

Dublin, Ireland – May 17th, 2025
GoChallenge has successfully closed an oversubscribed €500,000 pre-seed funding round – a major step forward in our mission to re-energise the workplace through movement.

Founded to combat rising burnout and disconnection in modern work, GoChallenge delivers inclusive, energising team challenges that help people feel better, move more, and connect deeply – wherever they work.

Backed to move faster

This funding will power our next phase of growth. We’re using the investment to:

  • Triple our team, with new hires in Product, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Accelerate our product roadmap, building features that make wellbeing more engaging and inclusive
  • Grow our brand, through targeted go-to-market strategies and sales activation

“This round means we can scale with real intention,” said John Barron, GoChallenge Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re grateful to every investor, friend, and mentor who helped bring it together – especially Enterprise Ireland, and the brilliant team at Propelor BIC who supported us every step of the way.”

Why movement works

We weren’t made to sit still. Yet so many teams today are stuck at screens, drained by back-to-back meetings and digital overload. That’s where GoChallenge comes in.

Our platform turns daily movement into a shared, energising ritual—boosting health, mood, and camaraderie in as little as 20 minutes a day.

“We didn’t want another app to ignore – we wanted something people could feel. GoChallenge made our team feel alive again.”
HR Leader, Three (Ireland)
